It’s such a great way to start your day with something healthy and filling. This Mixed berry orange smoothie is so fresh and sweet, loaded with frozen berries, oranges, bananas and chia seeds.
They’re usually very simple, chop some fruit and add in the juice.
Whenever, I notice that the bananas and berries are starting to get overripe, I just put them in a Ziplock bag and throw it in the freezer.
The combination of oranges with the mixed berries and ½ a cup of orange juice makes it really sweet and refreshing.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mixed berries (strawberry, blueberry, blackberry)
- 4 slices of bananas
- 1/2 cup oranges (peeled and diced)
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- Fresh turmeric root (a small piece)
- 1 tsp honey
Directions
- Place berries, bananas, oranges, Greek yoghurt, chia seeds and turmeric in a blender and blend with orange juice until smooth.
- Divide into glasses.
- Drizzle with honey on top and serve.
